Tineka Smith is the co-author of MIXED UP: Confessions of an Interracial Couple from Headline and Audible. She is also a communications expert for the United Nations, a writer, and a mom.
She has written amongst others for The Guardian, The Sunday Times, The Independent, Elle, Grazia, Cosmopolitan and The Huffington Post.
She is best known for features and opinion articles on interracial relationships. She lives in Geneva, Switzerland, with her husband and son - who is currently obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine.

Tineka has also been featured on BBC Women's Hour, Sky News, BBC Radio London, BBC 5 Live, The Voice, talkRADIO and Euronews.

She is the former owner and Managing Director of Huetribe, which was a UK greeting card company aimed at promoting diverse representation on cards. Huetribe cards were carried and stocked in high street stores such as WHSmith, Scribbler and Tesco. Huetribe cards are currently held and on display at the Postal Museum in London, England.
